Meditation is Simple.
Sit down, friend.
Floor or chair.
Eyes open or closed. You choose. It’s your practice.
Relaxed, but alert.
Don’t worry. You can do this.
Notice your breathing - your one job.
It happens naturally. Don’t force.
Cool sensation at your nostrils.
Chest rising and falling.
YOU WILL GET LOST...to-do lists...and fantasies...idle thoughts...and history...
THINKING DOESN’T STOP. Just observe.
Now, notice your breath again.
In. Out. Cool sensation. Rise and fall.
You have thoughts.
You are not thoughts.
That’s pretty much it.
